Failure

Hello to whoever reads this in simple bake.

I found the instructions clear and followed precisely, a few days after receiving the package I started the starter mix, this I left overnight.
I didn’t expect a lot of bubbles but there was a few. The next day I had to add the contents of second pack too improve its action.
After a few hours I started the bread mix proper, I kneaded it for around 15 minutes, and left it to rise, after 5 hours it hadn’t risen much. So I put it in the oven and hoped it would rise as it baked.
Unfortunately it did not it had a crust but on cutting when cool it felt moist.
I did not try to eat it but put it in the food caddy for recycling.
Regards
